The Victoria Falls are accessible throughout the year. However, when you go dictates the type of experience you can expect. The Falls are most majestic during March to July. However, when the water levels are low, you are able to enjoy activities such as the Devil’s pool and white water rafting. Air: Victoria Falls is accessible by both charter flights and commercial flights. There are two direct flights per day from Johannesburg, and one direct flight per day from Cape Town. Most major airlines now fly direct to Victoria Falls, and the number of airlines flying in continues to grow.
Road: You can drive to Victoria Falls, but depending on your starting point, this could be a long journey! The main roads leading to Victoria Falls are all tarred though.
Rail: Depending on your budget, you can take the National Railway train, or one of the luxury train options.
